About The Role

Meikai is seeking a Project Manager with Defence experience to join our passionate and growing team.


Meikai is a bespoke consultancy dedicated to providing engaging individuals and tailored teams to help solve emerging and disruptive technology-based problems and challenges for our clients. Meikai is seeking a Project Manager, preferably with Defence experience, to manage exciting Government and Defence projects in emerging and disruptive technology. The successful applicant will have familiarity working with senior management positions as well as managing complex stakeholder engagement across project, program and delivery group interdependencies. In addition to these qualities, the applicant must possess the ability to work unsupervised in a complex and often fluid environment. 



Key Experience

Essential Attributes:  

  • Applicant must hold, or be capable of obtaining, a minimum BASELINE security clearance.

  • Demonstrated experience working with multiple and diverse stakeholders.

  • An appropriate tertiary project management qualification and/or a minimum five years of relevant Project Management experience.  


Desirable experience:  

  • Working knowledge of the One Defence Capability System.

  • Knowledge of, and experience in developing, Capability Definition Documentation.

  • Experience with the Australian Defence Force training systems and environments. Familiarity with large scale ICT networking and security principles.

  • Familiarity with big data management and use methodologies.

  • Skilled in the use of software including Microsoft Office suite and ability to adapt to complex document storage systems.
